Your trip, day by day
Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Your safari adventure begins in the morning in Arusha. After a short briefing, you drive toward Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania's most beautiful and peaceful parks. As soon as you enter the park you'll be captivated by the unique landscape of massive baobab trees, open savannah and the winding Tarangire River. Here large elephant herds, zebras, giraffes, buffalo and many other animals live. The park is also known for its enormous bird diversity – a paradise for photographers and nature lovers. After an extensive afternoon game drive, you drive to your lodge or camp, where you end the day with a delicious dinner and a breathtaking view of the wilderness.
Day 2: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast you set off for the world-famous Serengeti National Park, one of the most fascinating wildlife reserves on Earth. The drive takes you through the green slopes of the Ngorongoro Highlands with wonderful panoramic views of the Rift Valley. As soon as you reach the Serengeti, an endless sea of golden grassland opens before you – a symbol of Africa. During your afternoon game drive you discover the Serengeti's fascinating wildlife: lions, leopards, wildebeest, buffalo, antelope and many other species. At sunset you reach your camp or lodge, where you end the day with dinner amid nature.
Day 3: Full Day Safari in the Serengeti
Early in the morning, as the savannah glows in golden light, you set off on an exciting game drive. This is the best time to see predators such as lions or cheetahs hunting. After breakfast you explore more of the Serengeti's regions – depending on the season you may witness the great migration, in which millions of wildebeest and zebra move across the plains. At midday you enjoy a picnic in the wilderness, surrounded by the sounds of Africa. The afternoon is available for further wildlife viewing – with luck you may encounter elephant herds, hippos or a lioness with her cubs. In the evening you return to your camp and end the day around the campfire under the African night sky.
Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Arusha
After an early breakfast you drive from the Serengeti toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a final game drive. On arrival at the crater rim, you enjoy the breathtaking view of the 600-meter-deep Ngorongoro Crater before descending to explore this extraordinary ecosystem. The crater is famous for its high density of wildlife – lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo, hippos and countless antelope species live here in close quarters. During a half-day game drive you experience this unique natural paradise up close. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the idyllic Hippo Pool, before ascending out of the crater in the afternoon and returning to Arusha. In the evening you reach your hotel or are taken to the airport – filled with unforgettable memories of your safari.

Best Time to Travel
Wildlife viewing is good year-round. The dry season (June-October) concentrates animals around water sources for easier sightings, and the Great Migration's river crossings peak July-October. Calving season in the southern Serengeti runs December-March.
